Spring into it

“I wanted to dress the woman who lives and works, not the woman in a painting.” – Giorgio Armani

Armani menswear fashion show was no ordinary to the ones from Prada and Gucci nor the ones in previous years. To read more about how Armani has improved the formal-athleisure wear for men click here. It’s a quick and great read if you love or don’t even know Armani!

Up in the Air

“Every day is a journey, and the journey itself is home.” – Matsuo Basho
I was looking up a quote about traveling to create inspiration for this outfit but I came across this quote instead. I find that this quote rings so true to what’s going on in my life and especially the world. Recently I have made the transition from living at home with my parents to sharing a 200 sq ft room. I find that I don’t call this room home because I know I’ll be moved out in a few short months and I know it’s only temporary. We may not all have a place to call home but the paths that we take everyday, that leads us a step closer to where we want to be, are our own personal journey that only we can live.
I hope you enjoy this ensemble, xoxo I

Vibes after the Golden Globes

“Isn’t it such a privilege, Meryl, just to be an actor?” Yeah, it is. And we have to remind each other of the privilege and the responsibility of the act of empathy. We should be very proud of the work Hollywood honors here tonight.” – Meryl Streep.
I wasn’t able to watch all of the Golden Globes last night but as many of you know, by this time, that Meryl Streep gave one of the most powerful and beautiful speeches. She continues to inspire and amaze me to this day! The outfit I picked out for today comes from my reactions from the results last night. I believe that all of the winners (and Ryan Reynolds and Andrew Garfield themselves) are turning heads and making this world a better place!
Enjoy! xoxo, I

Cold No More

One of my new favorite principal ballerinas is Lauren Lovette from New York City Ballet. I’d like to start off this post with one of her quotes from her instagram page:

“We never want to feel pain but we still desire strength…I sure am glad that I don’t always get what I want, because I would surely never take the hard road willingly, and without the hard road I certainly wouldn’t be the same woman.”

This quote has no relation to what I’m posting today but I feel that it’s always a good idea to start the day with a powerful statement! Us women should and can achieve greatness and after creating myself as a brand I have come to realize that this isn’t going to be easy. And you know what? I’m excited to face obstacles because who knows what might come of them!

On a Date with Big Ben

These colder days are making me miss Europe and I’m super tempted to buy lots of warm and cute coats that are currently in my online shopping bagImage result for emojis grinding his teeth But I probably will end up not buying them and see if they ever go on sale in a few months! Going to university has definitely made me choose between food or clothing sometimes Image result for emojis laughing crying
My inspiration for this outfit comes from my best friend Kelley. She is absolutely in love with England and her simple, chic style reminds me that less is more.
Bisous, xoxo I
